National Fencing Alliance (NFA) is an official club member of the United States Fencing Association (USFA) and the New Jersey Fencing Division (NJUSFA). NFA professional coaches train and teach students the art of fencing, prepare them for competition at the local, state, national and international levels.Our coaches teaches good morals and ethics, and shows the students proper goals for their future life. Fencing is Olympic sport. NFA fencers have won many medals at NJ State, Summer National Championships,North American Cups, World Cups & International Championships. NFA students qualify for top Colleges and Universities all over the United States. 50 top Universities have fencing scholarship programs included Princeton, Harward, and Yale. NFA invites anyone interested to fencing to visit our friendly club. Membership is open to motivated people. You can start to learn fencing as early as 6 years old with no age limit. NFA offer classes for youth's and adult's, men's and women's, for all 3 weapons.


NFA Founder, President & Fencing Head Coach
Maestro Trudnos
has been training World, National and State Champions for over thirty years in Europe, USA and Canada. Founder and President of Children's Fencing Foundation a non profit organization. Maestro Trudnos is a highly successful in fencing records.He has developed proper strategies, fencing techniques and creative ideas for individuals and team fencers. As a professional fencer Maestro Trudnos achieved great results at International and National levels. Member of National Saber Teams from 1969 to 1974. Won medals at International and National Championships. From 2001 to 2004 fencing Head Coach at Wayne Valley H.S. New Jersey. 2007 to 2011 USA Men's and Women's Head Coach Squad at Cadet Fencing World Cups in USA, Canada &  Europe. Since 2014 to present West Essex High School Men's & Women's Fencing Head Coach 

Will Puglisi- NFA Foil-Saber Coach
Start fencing in 2002. Will finished Passaic Valley high school with senior year
record 30-0. He hold two NCAA Div.1 Championships as foilist for Sacred Heart University. Puglisi competed in many USFA Championships, & Junior Olympics. He won four titles at Garden States Championships. Since 2011 Fencing Head Coach at Passaic Valley high school &Fencing Foil Coach @ National Fencing Alliance (NFA)


Chris DeNude- NFA Saber Coach

Since 2004 Chris DeNude-NFA Saber and Foil fencing Coach  was one of the best saber fencer in New Jersey. Fenced at National and Canadian Circuit Tournaments. His best results; 2-nd at J.O. Qualifier NJ Division 2002, 3-rd place at Penn State Open 2002, 3-rd place at North American Cup, 1-St place at Summer National Qualifier 2003, 1-St place at 2003 HS District 4. 2003 Chris joined NFA coaching staff. Under Coach Chris supervision many NFA fencers won medals at NJ Chamionships, Youth Super Regional topurnaments, North American Cups, Junior Olympics and USFA Championships.Since 2015 to present West Essex High School Fencing Coach.

Jolanta Trudnos- NFA Assistant Saber Coach -Retired
Since 2010 Jolanta Trudnos- NFA Saber & Foil Assistant Coach. She is dedicated to the promotion and growth of the sport of fencing, especially for very young students. Jola hosts Musketeers classes that acquaint kiddies aged 6–12 with basic rules and moves, preparing them for future intermediate fencing. Kids and parents loves her fencing classes.
